Kundalini Yoga is a dynamic blend of postures, pranayama (breathing techniques), chanting, mantra, music and meditation which teaches one the art of relaxation, self-healing, self-discovery and nurtures an enhanced awareness of mind, body and spirit.
This practice was cultivated and passed down with the intention of it being accessible and beneficial to all. No need to be flexible or strong. It's for every body.
Through the various facets of our practice you become aware of your infinite potential by awakening the energy of life itself - kundalini.

This asana practice was designed to detoxify and remove blockages from the physical and energetic bodies.
Through attention and intention, vibration and asana focusing on the seven chakras, we will begin the process of cleansing the physical, and removing any stagnation from the energetic body by reciting the bija (seed sounds) for the chakras.
The energy centers in our body are like pools of water allowing energy to flow from one to the next as if they were connected by a small stream. Blockages in the flow of the pools can distrupt the natural flow of energy preventing our vital organs from receiving life energy. Over time this energetic blockages can begin to create a disconnect between the physical and energetic body.
By balancing our chakras we are able to maintain our optimum connection to vital life force throughout our entire Self. This healthy connection allows us to maintain physical health and mental balance keeping us open to universal guidance and wisdom.
This class will blend bijas with asana to create a powerful energetic shift in your body. You can also expected pranayama, meditation, and a deeply nourishing relaxation.
Experience with yoga is required.
